GADC AT-A-GLANCE

The Greater Allen Development Corporation (GADC) is a Community Development Corporation that was established to support responsible, community-focused economic development in South Jamaica Queens by being connected to our shared past, understanding current needs, and working toward an inclusive, prosperous future. GADC was founded by the Reverend Dr. Floyd H. Flake to function as a development engine committed to providing faith-based leadership, housing, service, and consulting that will serve as a foundation for revitalization and restoration of historically under-served and underutilized communities. This includes providing affordable housing, promoting homeownership, and incorporating substantial commercial development to ensure the long-term viability of the communities that we serve.

Over the years, GADC and its subsidiaries have been at the forefront of housing development, commercial revitalization (including small/minority business development), job creation and venture development to serve residents who live in Greater Jamaica. GADC helps create safe communities for residents to live, work, and patronize and continually devotes significant resources to facilitate opportunities for small businesses to start, expand and grow.
